What are dreams and what relevance do they bear to our lives and destinies? You may ask. Dreams are very important to the existence of man on earth. It’s one of the many ways through which God relates to people. God said to Miriam and Aaron after they had conspired against their own blood brother, Moses; “And He said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream” (Num. 12: 6). Again, the scripture says: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2: 28). There are many other scriptural references that lend credence to the importance of dreams in the lives of men.
